Microsoft Excel files can contain macros and VBA scripts that can be applied to form objects. This is not possible in Calculate, but:

Important: If you open an Excel file in Calculate and it has macros or scripts, you won't be able to run them; however, they will remain in the file. Thus, if you open and edit such an Excel file in Calculate and then save it, the macros and scripts will not be lost.
