Write has a wide variety of functions – but don't worry: you don't have to master all of them! While you're getting started, just use those you need. If you would like to make use of Write's more advanced functions at a later stage, you can still read the relevant pages in the manual.

This manual is structured as follows:

The chapter Application window describes the individual components of Write's main window.

The chapter Basics provides information on Write's most important functions. It is ideal for beginners!

The chapter The Write tour deals with the subject of text editing in tutorial form and shows you how to use Write by means of some practical examples.

The chapter Working with selections and the following chapters are the reference part of this manual. These chapters are organized by subject and provide a detailed description of all functions of Write.
