An example of the use of footnotes

Write automatically numbers footnotes sequentially. If you insert a new footnote into the text or delete an existing footnote, the numbers of all subsequent footnotes change accordingly.

By default, Write automatically inserts a separator between the text and the footnote area. If desired, this can be reformatted or disabled.
